Users opt in on the live web form at /sms-signup.php. They enter their name, mobile number, and optional email address, then manually check an unchecked consent box before submitting. The form cannot be submitted without that checkbox being selected.
After submission, the site shows a confirmation page and stores a private consent record on the server. No texts are sent before the user completes this form.
